The use of the
RadScan Gamma Camera enables decontamination, sorting
and classification of waste items to be speeded
up considerably, saving time and money.
The system operates through a pin hole collimator using low resolution gamma
spectroscopy to provide isotopic identification of irradiated wastes, including
those with potentially complex matrices.
Gamma ray images are overlayed on the video image creating on-screen data that
is easy to interpret.
